It was fun while it lasted, but Freedom's undefeated season came to an end after eight games on Monday. They fell just short of the Waupun Warriors by a score of 31-29. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Irish have suffered since February 29th.

Freedom's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-1. As for Waupun, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season.

Freedom will be playing in front of their home fans against Little Chute at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Freedom is facing Little Chute at the right time seeing as Little Chute is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Waupun, they will head out on the road to challenge Ripon at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
