Baseball Recap: Concord-Carlisle Takes a Loss

Concord-Carlisle fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Lowell on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Red Raiders by a score of 8-6. The Patriots just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Concord-Carlisle's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lowell, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Concord-Carlisle will venture away from home to take on Boston Latin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Patriots are facing the Wolfpack at the right time seeing as the Wolfpack are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lowell, they have already played their next contest, a 13-1 defeat against Tewksbury Memorial on the 11th.
