Basketball Recap: Global Concepts Takes a Loss

Global Concepts lost against Northstar Christian Academy back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The match between the Global Concepts Gators and the Northstar Christian Academy Knights didn't end well, with the Global Concepts Gators falling 65-46. The game marked the Gators' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Global Concepts lost, don't look at Eric Davis. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 24 points and 12 boards. With that strong performance, Davis is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. Leighton Carty also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Even though they lost, Global Concepts smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.
