Basketball Game Preview: Palmer Bulldogs vs. Keene Chargers

The Palmer Bulldogs will face off against the Keene Chargers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Palmer is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

Palmer is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 78-35 win over Rice. Palmer has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Keene strolled past Rice with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 56-40. Given the Chargers 's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 554th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 1302nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Keene has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-12 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Palmer, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-7.
