Johnson Hornets are taking a road trip to take on the Lamar Silver Foxes at 6:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (C.A. Last Tuesday, C.A. Johnson was fully in charge, breezing past McBee 58-24. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Lamar didn't have quite enough to beat Governor's School for Science & Math on Friday and fell 26-24.

C.A. Johnson pushed their record up to 12-8 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.6 points per game. As for Lamar, their loss dropped their record down to 0-15.

Everything came up roses for C.A. Johnson against Lamar in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 71-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for C.A. Johnson since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
