Polytechnic had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Tuesday. They blew past the Rio Hondo Prep Kares 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 4th.

Polytechnic not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Rio Hondo Prep between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-19, 25-20.

Polytechnic's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Rio Hondo Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record this season.
