Softball Recap: Bethlehem Catholic Comes Up Short

Bethlehem Catholic fell victim to Liberty and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Hurricanes, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Hawks' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Bethlehem Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Liberty, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bethlehem Catholic will challenge Nazareth Area at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Eagles will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Liberty, they will face off against South Williamsport at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
