Baseball Recap: Field Kindley Comes Up Short

Field Kindley lost against Chanute back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Golden Tornado took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Comets. The Golden Tornado just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Field Kindley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryley Robson, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Field Kindley's record is now 5-11. As for Chanute, their victory bumped their record up to 7-14.

Looking ahead, Chanute will square off against Mulvane on Saturday. Field Kindley will be paying especially close attention to the Blue Comets' contest: after the Blue Comets face off against Ottawa, they'll take on Field Kindley again at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
