Basketball Recap: Castor Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Castor can now relate to. They fell just short of the Glenmora Wildcats by a score of 32-29 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tigers have suffered since November 30, 2023.

Castor's loss dropped their record down to 16-15. As for Glenmora, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-23.

Castor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Glenmora, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats challenge the Panthers on Monday. Fairview knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 39 matches -- so hopefully Glenmora likes a good challenge.
