St. Anthony strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Holy Trinity Titans with a sharp 8-0 win. Give the Friars' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

The result came thanks to Nina Vandernoth's shutout, as she gave up just three hits and racked up 16 Ks.

At the plate, Sarah Bielski was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Bielski is crushing it when it comes to triples: she's hit at least one every time she's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Katz, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

St. Anthony's always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Holy Trinity only posted an OBP of .190.

St. Anthony's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Holy Trinity, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, St. Anthony's will square off against Donovan Catholic at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday. As for Holy Trinity, they are taking a road trip to square off against St. Dominic at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
