Baseball Recap: Brookwood Takes a Loss

Brookwood lost against Ithaca back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brookwood's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Ithaca, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brookwood will square off against Royall at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Falcons 3.2, the Panthers 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Ithaca, they will face off against Seneca at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Indians will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
