Basketball Recap: Early Takes a Loss

Early lost against Goldthwaite last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Early Longhorns were dealt a 68-37 loss at the hands of the Goldthwaite Eagles. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Early's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Goldthwaite, they pushed their record up to 4-4 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Early will head out to face off against Comanche at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Comanche has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. Goldthwaite has already played their next game, a 66-28 win against Eastland on the 13th.
