Softball Recap: Waldron Takes a Loss

Waldron fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against North Adams-Jerome on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Rams by a score of 17-16. The Spartans have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Waldron's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for North Adams-Jerome, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-7.

Waldron does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Adams-Jerome, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Manchester at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
