Softball Game Preview: Buckingham Charter Knights vs. Venture Academy Mustangs

The Buckingham Charter Knights will head out to face off against the Venture Academy Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

Buckingham Charter lost 24-3 to Woodland Christian last Friday.

Juliette Spencer was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Venture Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They blew past Elliot Christian 18-5. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

The team relied heavily on Tiff Bruss, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Padilla, who scored four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Everything went Buckingham Charter's way against Venture Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2019, as Buckingham Charter made off with a 23-10 win.
