Somonauk won against Hiawatha last Monday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Bobcats blew past the Hawks 11-2. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by eight runs or more this season.

Somonauk's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-6. As for Hiawatha, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Somonauk will face off against Seneca at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hiawatha, they will challenge Parkview Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
