Basketball Recap: San Simon Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matchups, San Simon finally came back down to earth on Monday. They were dealt a 56-23 defeat at the hands of the Willcox Cowboys.

San Simon's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Willcox, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Simon won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Duncan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Willcox, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Benson at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
