It was a good run, but Woodhaven unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 3-0 to the Chelsea Bulldogs. The Warriors were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior), but the Bulldogs' pitcher proved too tough.

Natilee Pridemore spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on eight hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

Woodhaven's defeat dropped their record down to 26-5. As for Chelsea, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Woodhaven will challenge Algonac at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chelsea, they will welcome Dexter at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
