Volleyball Recap: South Side Gets the Win

With a playoff win on the line, South Side rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans by a score of 2-0. The Cyclones have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans, too.

The win made it two in a row for South Side and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1. As for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 33-9-3.

South Side does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Islip on the 21st.
