Basketball Recap: Crothersville Takes a Loss

Crothersville lost against Rising Sun back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Crothersville Tigers received a blow as they fell 64-50 to the Rising Sun Shiners.

Despite the loss, Crothersville still got an impressive performance from Tymir Cromwell, who went 9 for 16 en route to 22 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. With that strong performance, Cromwell is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Another player making a difference was TY HILTON, who posted eight points.

Brody Morris continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Rising Sun, going 8 of 18 on his way to 21 points and four steals. Dj Williams was another key player, putting up 12 points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Crothersville's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Rising Sun, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-14.

Crothersville has already played their next contest (against Rock Creek Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Rising Sun, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 66-65 defeat against Milan on the 6th.
