Ralls had lost three straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped their record down to 16-6 to make it four. They lost 8-1 to the Sudan Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-2 on Monday.

As for Sudan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-9. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won 15 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

For Sudan's part, Caleb Groetken was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out 15 batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Those 15 strikeouts gave Groetken a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
