There's no place like home for Triton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Argos Dragons on Monday as they made off with a 16-0 win. Considering the Trojans have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Isaiah Vaca was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Triton let Maddox Dennie and Ryder Goodman run wild. Dennie went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Goodman went 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.
