After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pendleton, Dixie was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Abbeville Panthers 4-1. The high-scoring effort was just what the Hornets needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

They hit Abbeville with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Joshua Beiler (2), Garrett Atkins, and Jayden Martin.

Dixie's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Abbeville, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dixie will take on GREEN Upstate at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give GREEN Upstate their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Abbeville, they will face off against Ware Shoals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
