Softball Recap: Pleasure Ridge Park Starts Season with Victory Against Presentation

Pleasure Ridge Park had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on the Presentation Toppers with a sharp 23-3 win. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Toppers: they've now won three in a row.

Kylie Barker made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Barker was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Pleasure Ridge Park got a massive performance out of Catherine Wright, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Avianna Burks was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3.

Looking ahead, Pleasure Ridge Park will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Jeffersontown at 6:00 p.m. As for Presentation, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Shelby County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
