Baseball Recap: Union City Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Union City owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the North Bergen Bruins as they made off with a 7-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Soaring Eagles in their matchups with the Bruins: they've now won seven in a row.

LJ Santiago was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was AJ Romero, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-3.

Union City's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. As for North Bergen, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
