Mira Costa's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Milly McGee, who had 22 assists and six digs. McGee is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last eight games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Reese Stinger, who had 17 assists and nine digs.

Kate Scherlacher was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 19 assists and seven digs. Those 19 assists gave her a new career-high.
