Highland is 9-1 against Griffith since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Trojans will face off against the Panthers at 12:00 p.m. Highland will be strutting in after a win while Griffith will be coming in after a loss.

Highland is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Everything went their way against East Chicago Central as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Trojans as it spelled an end to their eight-match losing streak.

Highland can attribute much of their success to Aubree Ahrens, who had six digs and two aces, and Julia Zamudio, who had nine digs. What's more, Ahrens posted two assists, the most she's had since back in September.

Meanwhile, Griffith unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak last Wednesday. They came up short against Whiting, falling 3-0.

While Griffith was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19, 25-15.

Highland's victory bumped their record up to 7-22. As for Griffith, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-12.

Highland couldn't quite get it done against Griffith in their previous matchup back in August as they fell 3-1. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
