After flying high against Montague on Saturday, Tri County Area came back down to earth. The Vikings fell just short of the Belding Black Knights by a score of 3-2 on Monday. Tri County Area have struggled against Belding recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Tri County Area's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Belding, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri County Area will square off against Big Rapids at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Belding, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Ionia at 6:30 p.m.
