Volleyball Recap: Wolfe City Takes a Loss

Wolfe City lost against Commerce back in September of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wolves took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16.

Wolfe City's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Commerce, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Wolfe City and Commerce will both be playing Como-Pickton the next time they take the court. The Tigers will host the Eagles at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Wolves will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
