Football Recap: Pingree Comes Up Short

Pingree blew Worcester Academy out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Worcester Academy got their revenge. The Highlanders fell just short of the Hilltoppers by a score of 29-27.

Pingree's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Worcester Academy, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Pingree and Worcester Academy could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings. The Highlanders (ranked 127th) will meet New Hampton School (ranked 47th) at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Worcester Academy will square off against Proctor Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank disadvantage (184 vs. 39).
