Meanwhile, Champions Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 56-38 bruising from Hifz Academy.

Families Instructing Students HomeSchool will have to keep a close watch on Joshua Brown and Kurtis Colon, a pair of players who had a big impact on Champions Christian Academy's prior game. Brown posted 20 points and five steals, while Colon scored 11 points and seven rebounds. That was a full 52.6% of Champions Christian Academy's points, marking the third time in a row Brown has earned more than a third of the team's points.

Families Instructing Students HomeSchool's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points over those games. As for Champions Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.

Everything came up roses for Families Instructing Students HomeSchool against Champions Christian Academy in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as the team secured a 74-28 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Families Instructing Students HomeSchool since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around.
