Baseball Recap: Seven Straight Home Victories for Creston

Creston hadn't done well against Kuemper recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Knights. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Knights on Wednesday, they had to take a 1-0 loss.

Creston's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-9. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Kuemper, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

Kuemper has already played their next matchup (against Harlan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Creston will be paying especially close attention to the Knights' contest: after the Knights face off against Lewis Central, they'll take on Creston again.
