Hoosac Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 9-3 to the Lenox Memorial Millionaires. Hoosac Valley was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lenox Memorial apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April.
For Lenox Memorial's part, Evelyn Julieano made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off ten hits. Julieano has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than six innings in seven consecutive pitching appearances. Julieano was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Anna Nealon was excellent, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and a double. Another player making a difference was Lilly MacDonald, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.
