Basketball Game Preview: Lewis County Lions vs. Johnson County Longhorns

The Lewis County Lions will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Johnson County Longhorns at 9:00 a.m. on Monday. Johnson County took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Lewis County, who comes in off a win.

Lewis County will head into Saturday's matchup on the come-up: they were handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Patrick Henry Academy on Saturday. Lewis County ended the year with a bang, routing Patrick Henry Academy 82-61. The Lions' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Johnson County came up short against Hickory Grove Christian on Saturday, falling 77-52.

Johnson County's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Lewis County, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
