Basketball Game Preview: Muchin College Prep Mountain Lions vs. Pritzker Jaguars

Muchin College Prep hasn't had much luck against Pritzker recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Muchin College Prep Mountain Lions will head out on the road to take on the Pritzker Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. Muchin College Prep's defense has only allowed 26.6 points per game this season, so Pritzker's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Muchin College Prep lost 39-17 to Noble Street College Prep on Monday.

Meanwhile, Pritzker got the win against The Noble Academy on Monday by a conclusive 46-24. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 22 points or more this season.

Pritzker's win came from a few key players Muchin College Prep will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kalyne Rodriguez, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. Rodriguez is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. Ezrielle Sanders was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to ten rebounds and four steals.

Pritzker smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive games.

Pritzker's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Muchin College Prep, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Muchin College Prep lost to Pritzker on the road by a decisive 38-24 margin in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Muchin College Prep avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
