Baseball Recap: Beachside Comes Up Short

Beachside came into this matchup off a tough nine-run loss on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Creekside Knights by a score of 4-2 on Wednesday. The Barracudas haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Derek Ochoa made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Beachside now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Creekside, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Beachside will be playing in front of their home fans against Old Plank Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Creekside, they will face off against Clay at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
