Basketball Recap: Trivium Prep Comes Up Short

Trivium Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a 71-33 loss at the hands of the Mohave Accelerated Patriots. If the Crimson Knights were looking for revenge after losing 100-44 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Noah Belton was his usual excellent self, going 9 of 21 on his way to 24 points and four steals for Mohave Accelerated. Drake Knight was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 15 boards.

Trivium Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Mohave Accelerated, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trivium Prep has already played their next game (against BASIS Phoenix), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mohave Accelerated will square off against Needles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Needles' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
