 South Bend Adams came tearing into  Saturday's  game with nine straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.4 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Homestead Spartans 14-6. South Bend Adams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four matchups by six  runs or more this season.

 In other batting news, South Bend Adams got a  massive  performance out of  BROCK STULTZ, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple. Another player making a difference was  PHIL NORTHERN, who  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
 On Homestead's side,  Caleb Bradford was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.  Cole Kintz was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 South Bend Adams pushed their record up to 11-1 with that  victory, which was their eighth straight  on the road. As for Homestead,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-6.
