Recap: Intermountain Christian Lions vs. Manila Mustangs
The Intermountain Christian Lions lost against the Manila Mustangs back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Intermountain Christian took a 53-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Manila. Intermountain Christian has not had much luck with Manila recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Despite the loss, Intermountain Christian still got an impressive performance from Elaine Lunsford, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 20 rebounds. Lunsford is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Rebecca Wanner, who scored 13 points along with 8 rebounds.
Intermountain Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Manila, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
Intermountain Christian will look to defend their home court on Monday against Tintic at 7:00 p.m. Tintic has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Manila's road trip will continue as they head out to face Cokeville at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th.
