Basketball Recap: Scranton Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Scranton can now relate to. They were beaten by the Lead Hill Tigers 80-50 on Friday. The Rockets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-21.

Leading Lead Hill to victory were Noah Royce and Dawson Lively. Royce posted 13 points in addition to eight boards and seven steals, while Lively dropped a triple-double with 12 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists. What's more, Lively posted five steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Rogers, who shot 75% from the field to rack up 14 points and seven boards.

Scranton's defeat dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Lead Hill, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 33-5.

Scranton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lead Hill, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Jasper at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
