Basketball Game Preview: North Rose-Wolcott Cougars vs. Lyons Lions

North Rose-Wolcott is 1-9 against Lyons since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. Having just played yesterday, the North Rose-Wolcott Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Lyons Lions at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

It was a proper cat-fight when North Rose-Wolcott took on Geneva on Tuesday. North Rose-Wolcott took a 34-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of Geneva. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Lyons unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 61-52 to Waterloo.

Lyons' loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-2. As for North Rose-Wolcott, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.

North Rose-Wolcott was dealt a bruising 71-27 loss at the hands of Lyons in their previous matchup back in January. Can North Rose-Wolcott avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
