Centennial lost to Meridian back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Patriots walked away with a 7-2 win over the Warriors. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Stryker Eldred tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Centennial's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cannon Haws, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Centennial's record now sits at 17-3. As for Meridian, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.

Looking ahead, Centennial will face off against Middleton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots are on a ten-game streak of home wins, the Vikings a seven-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind. As for Meridian, they will take on Eagle at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
