Cabrini is 0-5 against Bishop Foley since April of 2022 but things could change on Thursday. The Monarchs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Ventures at 4:30 p.m. Cabrini is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.
Cabrini blew Glen Lake out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Glen Lake got their revenge. The Monarchs fell just short of the Lakers by a score of 9-7. The Monarchs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jodi Browning was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and three runs. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Elena DelCotto, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bishop Foley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past Rochester 8-2 on Wednesday. The Ventures not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 5th (when they won 7-1).
Sasha Walker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on seven hits and racked up 11 Ks.
On the hitting side, Bishop Foley got a massive performance out of Leah Rovner, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave Rovner a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Abbey Jones, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Bishop Foley's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Cabrini, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14.
Thursday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Cabrini has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .496. However, it's not like Bishop Foley struggles in that department as they've averaged .454. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
