Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lakeview). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the L'Anse Creuse Lancers 42-14. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Huskies with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Lakeview and bumps their season record up to 4-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 28 points in those games. As for L'Anse Creuse, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lakeview is set to challenge their familiar foe Grosse Pointe South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, L'Anse Creuse will square off against rival Roseville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
