Kanab had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 49-0 victory over the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs. The Cowboys have beaten the Bulldogs the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bulldogs has come to flipping the script.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Kanab, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Grady Anderson, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Kanab's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Gunnison Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Kanab has already played their next game, a 43-19 victory against North Summit on the 8th. Gunnison Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
