It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Kanab had no problem doing just that on Friday. They breezed past the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs to the tune of 49-0. The win continues a trend for the Cowboys in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won six in a row.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Kanab, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Grady Anderson, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Kanab's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Gunnison Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Kanab will challenge North Summit at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Gunnison Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
