Washington faced Harrisburg in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Tigers. Considering the Warriors have won eight contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Washington's sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Harrisburg, with the defeat, they broke their 14-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Washington is set to face off against their familiar foe Aberdeen Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The timing is sure in the Warriors' favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while the Golden Eagles have been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road. Meanwhile, Harrisburg will challenge rival Mitchell at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
