West Ranch extended their postseason success on Wednesday against La Canada. They walked away with  a   7-4  win over the Spartans. The  victory was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on eight straight.
The team  relied heavily on  MADISON MEISTER, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double. Another player making a difference was  PAYTON BORLAND, who  went 1-for-4 with two  RBI and one  run.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: West Ranch  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They are 9-1 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
West Ranch pushed their record up to 16-14 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for La Canada, their defeat  ended  a  seven-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 19-7-1.
 Coming up, West Ranch will head out to  face off against Cerritos  at 3:15  p.m.  on Saturday. The Dons will roll in looking for their  tenth straight  win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. La Canada does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
