Volleyball Recap: Birdville Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Birdville waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Boswell Pioneers. The Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pioneers, too.

The final score came out to 25-18, 14-25, 25-20, 25-16.

Maribel Longspaugh and Emma Stuhr certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Longspaugh had 21 digs and two aces, while Stuhr had 15 assists and three digs. Longspaugh is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Birdville's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Boswell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9.

Looking ahead, Birdville will venture away from home to square off against Northwest at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Boswell, they will take on Greenville at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
