Basketball Recap: Carlisle Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Carlisle came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were dealt an 83-27 defeat at the hands of the Blue Ridge Barons. Having soared to a lofty 56 points in the game before, the Chiefs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Despite the loss, Carlisle still got an impressive performance from Josh Wingfield, who posted 17 points. Ryan Williams was another key player, putting up five points.

Carlisle's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Blue Ridge, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Carlisle will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Millennium at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Blue Ridge, they will take on Broughton in a tournament on Thursday. The Barons will be up against the Capitals' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
