Basketball Game Preview: Leflore Savages vs. Red Oak Eagles

Leflore is 2-8 against Red Oak since November of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Leflore Savages will be playing at home against the Red Oak Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Leflore is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Wednesday. They were outmatched by Panama and fell 64-17. While losing is never fun, the Savages can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 420th, while the Razorbacks are ranked 68th).

Meanwhile, Red Oak came up short against Howe on Tuesday and fell 66-54.

Leflore's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Red Oak, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4.

Leflore was dealt a bruising 73-38 defeat at the hands of Red Oak when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Leflore avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
